Supernatural Delight
Over the past month I have spiritual growth like no other time I can think of since I was saved nine years ago. It began as I was on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic this past July. What I witnessed there was a group of young people were so passionate about their relationship with Jesus. I admired their zeal and intimacy with the Father. I observed how their prayers were so real and they always sounded different. This began an exciting journey for me as I examined my relationship with the Father. What God revealed to me was - "Larry, you spent most of your time in study for other people. What about time for just you and me?" That week I committed to the Lord more time for JUST Him. My life in Him has not been the same.
The greatest day in the life of a person is salvation. The greatest day in the life of a believer is when our pursue goes from obligation to delight. Psalm 112:1 says, "Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands.". Since returning from my mission trip, I can truly say I have obsessed more over God's goodness and have begun a delightful fascination with Him. IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE.
How do we acquire this delight? Through faith, through prayer, and through the pursuit of God. When we obsess over God, we truly fall in love with Him and this results in spiritual growth. May we all fall in love with "Daddy" and experience what it means to take pleasure in Him.

If you have ever sat under the preaching of Larry Eddings, there is no doubt you have felt the true power of the Holy Spirit working with and reaching out to every listener. Larry has been anointed with grace and power from on high for his calling: bringing the lost into the kingdom while there is still time. He will tell you his life was not always this way.
Even though he was a Sunday School teacher and attended church services regularly, he often tells his listeners it was mostly from a sense of duty. He has coached basketball since his graduation from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Larry's Greeting:
Greetings in the name of the Jesus Christ! I am so excited about what I see our Father in heaven doing in the lives and hearts of people as I preach across this great land. I have witnessed firsthand people being changed and freed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since God is the same God of yesterday, today and forevermore, I believe that He is pouring out a fresh, new beginning for many people who desire more than what simple religion can offer.
I encourage you to do one thing in your walk with Christ – SEEK HIM! The Bible says “seek me and live.” In my personal walk with Jesus, I have set a simple goal to accomplish – to experience His presence. Funny thing is sometimes we do not recognize his presence in certain situations. When we are in the presence of an Almighty God, we get to experience His power, peace, and love. Matthew 6:33 states “seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” so if we seek God each day of our lives and place Him first on our list of priorities, we would be better able to do His will for our lives. Think about this – striving to experience His presence each day will not only change our lives but the lives of the ones around us.
I believe God has the power to change ANY life. I believe God is who he says he is and I believe God will do what he says he will do. As you read this, my prayer is for you to believe that Jesus Christ loves you, died for all your sins, and was resurrected from the dead to claim victory over death for you! Man, there is no other love that compares to the love of Jesus Christ.
If we never meet, may God bless you with His powerful presence, but if our paths are destined to cross, may God protect us both until that time.
